Autumn To Do List

Since today marks the first official day of fall aka the Autumnal Equinox, I thought I would highlight my favorite things to do in my all time favorite season. I am a Halloween Baby, so it’s no surprise that this is my favorite time of year. When I was a kid, these months were filled with pumpkin picking, corn mazes, and Sunday mornings spent in the pee wee football stands cheering on my little brother. As the days slowly start to grow colder, I want to try to continue some of these wonderful traditions. Even though I am living in a big city away from my hometown, I still want to make an effort to partake in my favorite seasonal activities. To help keep track of all the different options, I’ve compiled a list of absolute musts this fall!

Central Park Fall XE2 69Pumpkin picking

Drink hot apple cider

Tailgates & football games

Visit an apple orchard

Step on any & all crunchy leaves

Bake a pie

Get lost in a corn maze

Stroll through a red/yellow/orange colored Central Park

Carve a pumpkin (and roast the seeds!)

Hayrides (both scary and silly!)

Snuggle under warm blankets

Order a Pumpkin Spice Latte (maybe now that Starbucks uses REAL Pumpkin I will love it!)

Break out my favorite riding boots

Dream up a fantastic Halloween costume

Stock up on school supplies (whether or not you are still a student!)

Roast smores on a bonfire

Over the last few days I have started to feel a change in the air! It is truly starting to feel like fall. I cannot wait to break out my favorite chunky sweaters and scarves while I cross each of these activities off the list.

What are you most looking forward to this season?
