Weekend Recap: 4th of July

I realized that I haven’t shared a weekend recap in several months! I am not entirely sure how that is possible, but thought I would remedy that immediately. This past weekend was a much needed break from the madness at work and the perfect excuse to break out my favorite bikini and catch some rays. I was especially excited for the holiday because my cousins Will and Casey came up from Florida to spend the weekend with my family at our country club in PA. Will and Casey are the cousins who are closest in age to my brother Andy and I. We used to spend almost every Easter with them in Florida, but over the last couple of years our visits have been far and few between. Casey and I are pretty much two peas in a pod and have been ever since we were little. Some of our favorite childhood memories are those silly moments that probably no one else in our family remembers besides us. I love that even though we grew up in different states, we somehow always pick up right where we left off. Casey is not only my cousin, but my friend.

Over the last year I have learned time and time again that family truly is everything. I was very happy to spend the last few few days with the people I love most! Here are a few pictures of our time together (sorry I went a little photo crazy!)

The whole motley crew

All and all I’d say it was a pretty wonderful weekend! I am so thankful for my wonderful family and for spending some time in the sunshine. This weekend reminded me just how lucky I truly am. I hope you all had a lovely summer weekend celebrating the 4th of July!
