Wordy Wednesday – Future

699c72cfcc70e4ce2412c462f2207f6fThis C.S. Lewis quote encompasses the very exciting week that I have had so far! I just started my first full time job on Monday and it has certainly been a whirlwind. I love this quote because it reminds us that the future is filled with possibilities. I know that many of my fellow post grads are reminiscing about all the crazy times they had in college. The real world is hard and the adjustment certainly takes time, so it makes sense that we continually reflect on the past. I have definitely had my moments, wishing I could just transport myself back to college and be surrounded by my friends. However, sometimes we spend so much time looking in the rear view mirror that we fail to see all the new things coming our way. College was an amazing four years but I know that the best is yet to come. Life is filled with tons of changes that will constantly surprise us. It is important to remember that every day has the possibility for a new adventure. If you are ever having a really tough day, wishing you were back at college or could go back to a favorite memory, try to keep in mind…the best is yet to come!

  1. Congrats on your job! I just landed my first full time job out of college as well and am super nervous about moving to a new city/state when I start. It can be so hard to let go of life as a college student, but there really are so many exciting possibilities right in front of us!
