Wordy Wednesday – Family

Today I decided to keep my Wordy Wednesday post short and sweet. This quote pretty much sums it all up, family is incredibly important. This past weekend I spent time with my mom’s side of the family for my cousin Michelle’s baby shower. I have not seen this side of my family in almost two years, since Michelle’s wedding. The amount of love and support my family extends to one another never ceases to inspire me. My cousin Lori planned the entire shower for her sister, and her hard work certainly paid off. This love also comes in smaller packages like a phone call after traveling home. Monday I wrote a blog post about this weekend and my mom emailed it to the rest of the family. The amount of support for my blog was overwhelming. My family never ceases to support me and believe in my goals. Sometimes I second guess myself, but they are always the first to encourage me and remind me of how far I have come. Like all families, we have our crazy relatives and weirdness, but that is what makes us so special. It is important to remember, especially in those moments of absolute craziness that family is the most important thing we have in life. I love my family to bits and I cannot wait to welcome our newest addition later this summer!
